ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Saleem Nawaz Fazaia College, Masroor was established in 1965, as a Model School to cater for the growing needs of higher education of the base personnel. It was upgraded to Intermediate level in 1979 and renamed as Saleem Nawaz Fazaia College Masroor on 20 February, 2004 in the memory of Air Vice Marshal Saleem Nawaz (Shaheed) SI (M), S Bt ex-Base Commander PAF Base, Masroor. It is an English medium institution, and offers study courses to boys and girls from prep to XII class. The college is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad and also with Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi At secondary and college level only science courses are offered i.e. Pre-medical, Pre-engineering and General Science (computer) group. The college has highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty with state of art building. Gen Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics laboratories and separate computer laboratory for Primary, Secondary and college section is equipped with sufficient number of computers for each student. Emphasis is also laid on co-curricular and extra curricular activities in order to develop over all personality of the children and special care is taken to build up character qualities among them to make good Muslims and citizens of Pakistan.
